'A very important 2022 for the event,' says Ilaria Mari, 'which for the first time saw the holding of 2 editions in Spring: the first in Lucca at Villa Bottini, at the end of April, and the second in Florence, with a special edition at the end of May, at Serre Torrigiani. But the real novelty of this year - continues in artistic director - will be the first edition of Christmas in the spaces of the Ex Cavallerizza in Lucca. Fashion in Flair faces the month of December and marks in the Lucca calendar two dates entirely dedicated to shopping and Christmas gifts. On Saturday, Dec. 3 and Sunday, Dec. 4, the spaces of the Ex Cavallerizza will once again present itself to the city of Lucca with the traditional fall edition. The event, which for years has been a fixture in the calendar of events, supported and promoted by the municipal administration, becomes for the city of Lucca and for a transversal public, curious and lovers of Italian well-made, a much-awaited moment in the city, to discover handmade products ranging from men's-women's-children's fashion, to bijoux, personal care, and furnishing accessories, in addition to the usual proposal of quality food and wine, also in street-food version.

An event that, under the patronage of the Council of the Region of Tuscany and Province of Lucca, Fondazione Banca del Monte di Lucca, as well as local trade associations, will present this year about 100 exhibitors, belonging to the various product sectors, selected for their creative abilities in making original and quality products

Fashion in Flair, born as a joke from an idea of Ilaria Mari, has had over the years an escalation in consensus of public and exhibitor participants to the point of welcoming artisans from all over Italy. Promoted by the Cultural Association Eccellenti Maestrie, with Elisa Bianchi as president, the event has been enriched in the cultural and recreational program trying to involve the realities of the area, becoming an all-round tourist attraction.

To make the three-day kermesse enjoyable, the event offers a program of musical performances by the teachers of the Lucca Jam Academy-Academy of Modern Music and the painting exhibition of the Academy of Drawing of Lucca where the students will exhibit in the environments of the Wineries, their works inspired by the artisan exhibitors of the XI edition of Fashion in Flair.

It will also be possible to enjoy the street food proposals in the garden and the excellent aperitifs and wine tasting until 8 p.m.

The "free admission" formula will allow visitors to make multiple visits during the three days, rejoice with moments of shopping and relaxation and enjoy the proposals of the artisans of taste.

Special thanks to Angela Panetta Frontera official photographer of this 12th Edition.
