Laboratorio Orafo Lunamante
Suspended in a surreal atmosphere, Laboratorio Lunamante is a place where the slow progress of craftsmanship materializes ideas and dreams that draw from every art; from poetry to music, from painting to theater. It was born in Sanremo in 2019 from the passion of Emanuele Cannoletta who, inspired by tradition and influenced by the echoes of local history, after a degree in architecture first in Genoa and then in Barcelona and a diploma from the Academy of Goldsmith Arts in Florence, wanted to give life to a place where he could fully express his creativity.
A handcrafted jewelry altelier, where the material comes alive with memories, passions and emotions, transforming into works charged with feeling and meaning. A passion, that of jewelry that Emanuele certainly inherited from his grandfather Antonio and his small workshop on the second floor of the ancient Roman street that runs through the city of San Remo.
Fascinated by oblivion, Emanuele, seeks the balance of his works in the fusion of opposing aesthetics, marrying ancient techniques and unusual materials with modern technologies. He personally takes care of the design and production aspect of each work, the result of a personal quest that begins with design and grows following artisanal processes. For his works, he ranges from ancient metallurgical techniques, derived from the Far East, to the lines of manual arts such as calligraphy and sculpture, combined with the use of materials that deviate from the usual, with the aim of creating contemporary objects that have a unique and inimitable character.
Goldsmiths and jewelers since 1949, members of the Cannoletta family have lived and interpreted national and international jewelry trends for more than 70 years, and each production is accompanied by official certifications that testify to its completely handcrafted creation. Some of Emanuele's creations also have been exhibited by the Academy of Goldsmith Arts at the Munich International Jewelry Fair Inhorgenta, and there have been numerous awards and recognitions that he has already collected in a very few years.
