DeaBags

DeaBags

DeaBags was born in the heart of Puglia, in Trani, from the passion for Modern Art that Isabella De Anna and her husband Vincenzo Mancini share. Passionate about wooden marquetry and an artist in love with optical illusions, Vincenzo, designs and creates the artistic work while Isabella "transforms" her paintings into bags; in fact, she is the one who takes care of the choice of materials and creates each model by hand with great care, expertly assembling each part to offer sturdiness and comfort combined with refinement and elegance.

A perfect combination in life and work that led them to create the DeaBags brand by offering real unique pieces of Modern Art that have been a great success in the Italian public, as well as in the Asian and European ones, leading them to participate in numerous art events nationally and internationally in Fairs and Art Galleries.

The DeaBags bags, as well as the artistic works of Vincenzo to which they are linked, are born from an inspiration that originates in the "BAUHAUS", a well-known German school of Architecture, Art and Design and through careful cultural and technological research on materials give life to a timeless style. The need for modernity and the desire not to consider Art as a separate activity from everyday life shines through: a modern and dynamic conception that recovers Futurism's need for novelty and progressiveness, applying it to contemporary society in which aesthetic research is now applied to all fields, from Design to fashion.

Therefore, DeaBags bags are artistic pieces in Modern Art (Optical Art), made of wood, leather and sometimes aluminum, are produced in limited numbers and made exclusively by hand using the "Wood Inlay" technique with sheets of fine wood essences.
