The Musical Icons collection, includes a selection of famous artists, both Italian and foreign, represented through small portraits made of wood with Valegnameria's unique style that shows in 2 dimensions the salient features of each artist, creating easily recognizable faces. The same are also available on colored panel with customizable coloring.
As is often the case with songs, sometimes a single note is enough to take us back in time and bring back memories of important people or moments. The same thing can happen with a hairdo, an object or a face also capable of bringing back memories and atmospheres related to it.
This is the idea of the 2d faces of Valegnameria's "Musical Icons" line, which reproduce, in their essentiality, musical icons that have been soundtracks in the lives of many of us. These faces, through the different thicknesses of wood used by the artist, seem to come out of the wall and blend into the decor of the room in which they are placed, evoking atmospheres, moments and memories.
