Promoted by the Municipality of Grottaglie (TA), it is inspired by the link between ceramics and its territory, its origins, its people and its values
City of art, terracotta, museum, shops, pumas and breathtaking views: Grottaglie is ready to welcome tourists to its most beautiful places. This is the message of “Pottery Experience”, the video promoted by the Municipality of Grottaglie (TA), in the province of Taranto, the city that is part of the Italian City of Ceramics Association.
The new institutional video of Grottaglie is inspired by the link between ceramics and its territory, its origins, its people and its values. A journey that tells, through a mother and her child, the life, works, deeds, traditions, culture of a 3,000-year-old history.
It bears witness to the roots of the city, passing on its customs and the culture of its people. A tribute to the study and work of numerous artisans and artists who continue in the processing of ceramics, ranging between tradition and innovation, classicism and modernity, bearing witness to a never extinguished passion.
The video also documents how Grottaglie is a child-friendly city: while you get lost among the many shops and their wonderful artifacts, young and old can even work on the wheel and decorate. And you can also, not far from the ceramics district, visit the museum with over 500 artifacts that tell the story of local ceramic production from prehistoric times to the contemporary.
