When child she lived in close contact with the art and had always pencils and sheets nearby to put on paper the imaginative shapes that her mind saw.
Over the years her art has evolved with her: she graduated from the E. Basile High School and immediately afterwards she was taken to a local frame-worker where she made five intense years of apprenticeship to learn all the secrets of the art.

In those years she learned how to work and decorate the frames embellishing them with golden leaves or with the vibrant traditional colors of Sicily (intense red, bright blue, etc …) but in her works you dont find only Sicily, Irina has not forgotten her origins and she combined shapes and colors typical of Sicily with those typically Belorussian.

Irina works mainly on woods like: ajus, linden, fir and ash. For coloring she use only high quality non-toxic water-based paints, to ensure that they work well to the wood and the color resist the passage of time without ruining or losing gloss.

In addition to the classic paint color, she also embellishes the frames with corals, precious metals or ceramics (strictly from Caltagirone). She also collaborates with various Sicilian artists and takes care of the frames, built ad hoc, as well as display them in her shop.

On our store you can see some of her pieces, so you can have an idea of how this particular artisan works.

You can buy some Ancient prints from the 18th century, set in lime-tree frames in passe-partout tone on tone, not to be confused with the passepartout (key). Passe-partout is a particular technique that places a print at a distance interspersing one or more frames of dimensions to scale, serves to prevent the glass from touching the print and, if it is well executed, no shadow will never cover the prints.

If you are looking for something more unique we have Waterlilies, an acrylic painting on canvas with glass effect resin. The flowers are embossed to obtain the 3D effect.

Instead for those who love the classic style there is the Sicilian Baroque Mirror;, made of solid wood, worked in Baroque style and lacquered in white satin with gold leaf. With its proportions is perfect and useful both horizontally and vertically, depending on your needs.

We have only talked about three styles, just to make you understand the many possibilities that Irina offers, but obviously the choice does not end here and on the store you can find many other special frames and furniture!
