Not only showcase but driving force of an entire segment, HOMI Outdoor – HOME & DEHORS, from 13 to 16 September at Fiera Milano (Rho), is emerging as an important landmark for companies, architects and professionals in the sector, who will have plenty of excellent business opportunities and pleasant occasions for discussion, training and professional growth.

In this regard, we are told something by Stefano and Paolo Giovannoni of Qeeboo, an all-Italian company that has been able to reach many countries in the world from Milan, making its style the winning feature and exploiting HOMI as a springboard for its collections that in a short time have found an excellent response in different markets.
Another interesting point of view is that of Marcella Renna, from Bologna, who switched from lawyer to artisan, collecting great success and creating decorative objects able to combine the ancient art of ceramics with modern graphics.

HOMI Outdoor – HOME&DEHORS will be an event full of ideas, workshops and new trends. The heart of the training will be the Innovation Hub – within Hall 22, dedicated to in-depth meetings on the most current techniques for designing indoor and outdoor spaces and on innovative services dedicated to outlets.
IN&OUT LIVING New visions of contemporary living.
In collaboration with the prestigious magazine PLATFORM Architecture and Design, a series of meetings on the relationship between living in&out, in search of the perfect balance between external and internal home spaces.
The core of the project is the work of ten Italian authors: from the revisiting of a terrace in the heart of Rome by Bicuadro studio, to the Sicilian beach resort of Modica curated by Studio Caberlon Caroppi, up to the villa with a panoramic view of the Piedmontese Alpine arc signed by Damilanostudio and the intervention on a complex of M2Atelier villas and boutique hotels. But also the restoration of a Salento Riad followed by Massimo Brambilla, the interior design of Sanlorenzo’s SD96 yacht by Patricia Urquiola, the design of a secret garden in the city center signed by the Quincoces – Dragò & Partners studio or the outdoor project for Villa Tirana realized by Marco Piva. The list also includes the prospectus for a 50-storey tower for a hotel in Doha created by the Studio Matteo Nunziati and the new Mainstreet of the Fidenza Village Outlet Shopping of Vudafieri-Saverino Partners.
The program – divided into three sessions and held at the Innovation Hub on: the 13th from 2pm to 4pm, the 14th from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and the 16th from 10.30am to 12.30pm – is accredited by the Order of Architects of Milan and allows professionals who will participate as an audience to acquire 2 credits for each session.
WHEN THE SHOP TELLS OF GREEN STORIES
The three Casastile green and sustainability workshops held by Massimo Duroni, bioarchitect, university lecturer and ecodesigner, leading expert on innovative materials and spokesperson of an ecological approach to interior design are dedicated to the retail world. A trend that becomes an opportunity for tomorrow’s sales points: the spread of a sensitivity increasingly oriented to environmental sustainability is indeed a strong point for shops, which have the ability to create new product categories.
The appointments are scheduled for Saturday 14 at 3.00PM, Sunday 15 at 10.30AM and Monday 16 at 1.30PM, in the Innovation Hub, Hall 22.
INNOVATIVE AND ECO-COMPATIBLE PACKAGES
Made in Italy, craftsmanship and sustainability, the sector dedicated to wedding favors and its combination with the food product symbol of the holidays, that is the sugared almond. In collaboration with Bomboniera Italiana, two meetings/demonstrations will present insights and innovations in the sector.
Friday 13/9 at 17.00 and Sunday 15/9 at 12.30; the theme will be introduced by Giovanni Mirulla, historical director of the Italian Bomboniera magazine. Followed by demonstrations and insights offered by Daniela Piccolomo, an expert in the sector and packaging.
FIND NEW CUSTOMERS: APPROACH, CONTACT AND SALE CLOSING TECHNIQUES
Houzz is the international community of over 40 million design lovers and renovation professionals. The presentation will explore new marketing scenarios. Houzz will offer its experience and expertise in illustrating how to approach the market and the user in an innovative and effective way. The profile of the Houzz professional working in the area will also be traced. The presentation will take place on Saturday 14.9 at 13.30.
