Annamaria Ragone, in art Ram, is a young artist and decorator of Apulian origin, born in Cerignola in '79. Passionate about art in all its forms and curious about the various techniques of pictorial and decorative realization, she devotes herself mainly to painting and the realization of both wall decorations and objects, to which she gives through a new look, a second life.
Fascinated from an early age by the world of art, she first attended the art institute in her hometown, graduating in applied art and learning the techniques of masonry, of the use of lacquer and gold leaf decoration, concentrating and specializing later on the use of acrylic (a pigment that is not easy to work with), which offers many avenues for decoration.
When she came of age, she moved to Bologna, where she attended the Academy of "Belle Arti" and where she found her center and her style; a goal she also achieved thanks to a city rich in art and stimuli by which she allowed herself to be overwhelmed, actively participating in exhibitions and events of national and international level.
After more than 10 years in the capital of Rome, she has now settled in Abruzzo, in the province of Pescara. Here she started her own space, her workshop, in which she puts into practice ideas and projects, her own and those of clients, ranging from private individuals to commercial activities. A cartoonist, decorator and portrait artist, she sets no limits to art by also making signs, artistic facades and trompe l'oeil.
Ram's latest project, stems from her passion for cubism and the icons of our period, which led her to give birth to "Cartoon Cube": pictorial representations on canvas, dedicated to characters of our era, seen through the cubist "viewfinder." The first 10, made in limited numbered series of 10 pieces, represent cartoons and superheroes and are available at Madeinitalyfor.me.
